Lets get it clear. What are the stock block record rules.

So just to clarify is the community agreeing to oem standard size piston, rod, crank? All oem how it left the assembly line? Or oversized is ok aslong as its an oem replacement. And if oversized is allowed are we limiting to just .020 over or as big as oem produces? .020 040 .060 etc. Etc??
Curious what the response will be for this. We need to get a list of usernames here of the recent record holders so we can tag them on these types of questions. I think their input is pretty important, as well as those who might be competing for it.

Mitsubishi parts=record qualifying

it should not matter if the pistons are oversized. OEM parts are all that is key in my book.

I keep going back to the idea that there will soon be no more un-rebuilt blocks available to use for this record. Does that mean the record becomes obsolete if you can't use a rebuilt block? I don't think that should be the case, but maybe my opinion isn't as relevant to those who have held the record, or are gunning for it.

So I know I was saying how hard it is to get these SBEs, I just acquired this out of a 90gst with 128k. Internally the walls look super clean. I had a plan of dropping a stock block back in my fwd because it be way cooler resetting stock turbo records without a built engine. Who knows where this will take me.

Let's hope it takes you to a new record! :)
