Hey guys, has anyone tried this? I never seen it before and it just showed up on ebay so i did a little research. Looks like a maft thing. It has knock controll , and adjusts that airflow and o2 readings , and converts GM maf to dsm mas! Shows it in the example.

And its chheaper!

Mabye you have seen it before and Im a noob, sorry bout that but if this is for real' I'm ordering mine this week!

Looks like I may have a bad MAF. If so, I'll be picking this item up and going with a GM MAF just to save some money. Autozone wants $300 for a new MAF. Looks like I can get this system in for less than that. Just waiting on them to answer my message. Good news is they are located here in town, no wait for shipping.

You mistake was going to Autozone. All sensors at those parts stores are over priced.

Where do you recommend to find them cheaper??? The stealership wants $585, I've been to salvage yard in 3 states, can't find them.

If you shop the classifieds on this site as well as DsmTrader, Craigslist, and Ebay you should be able to come up with a:

1g maf for under $35
2g maf for under $60
Gm maf for under $60

Picked up my 2g mas for $25 shipped, gm maf's are generally around $35 shipped on ebay. But lets stay on topic. I'm still very interested in how well this product works.

I'm not really in the market to use one, but I definitely want to hear some feedback on it!
Not that I use it, but for the price of $250, I'm a big fan of the MaftGen2 because of it has much more capabilities over SAFC2.

I would really like to hear if the Lebeaux controller does the "targeting a/f feature" in the same manner with a wideband that Gen2 does.
Also, it appears it "hides airflow" which would probably make 650cc the biggest injector to retain decent timing/fuel function

But, if it does work well, for the price you really can't go wrong!
Obviously, you'll probably want to pick up a cable to connect 1gmas to GM from FullThrottle unless Lebeaux sells them

Nope. I'm sending them another e-mail today. I finally got the money together to finally go through with this. An unexpected (but almost welcomed) failure of the T-25 required me to buy another turbo. I just happened to decided that it was time for a s16g.

Hopefully they get back to me soon... I'm sending the e-mail through their orders e-mail address instead of their "general information" one.

I'd really like to give this a try...

Watch Ebay, there was one on there a week ago. It did not sell so it may be relisted soon.

So... Are you albe to wire up a Baro / Temp sensor up WITH the 3" GM Maf? That's the main reason I hate the MAF-T is because it's stuck on a constant setting and any type of humid or rain weather makes it all funky.

PM me more information. I may be interested in trying this out in the near future. And just a tad suggestion for the website... You should go with a lighter set of colours. That blue is terrible on black.

Awesome, I've had some sudden financial setbacks (hospital highway robbery) so it's going to be awhile before I spend any more money on the dizzum.

Please keep us updated. I'm close to the end of my budget so a cheaper alternative to DSMlink is what I need for the next 2-5 years until I have the money for it or the 98-99 ecu becomes easier/more reliable to reflashing.

So, I went out and took the plunge on the Lebeaux unit. I am part of a team preparing a car for the Lemons race. It fit with in the budget for the race, so we said, heck, whynot.

So, I got it installed, I am fairly certain. I have rechecked the wiring 3 or 4 times. I am pretty good with the wiring, I used to install car alarms, and emergency warning devices for a company with contracts with several agencies. So, Like I said, I know my way around auto wiring.

The unit powers up, but the 2 "fault" lights are lit. The unit does program correctly with the software, however, when the unit is in line piggybacking the ECU, my AFRs are 9.6, and no matter what changes I make to program/Lebeaux unit, nothing changes.

I have emailed them several times, with no response. There is no phone number, which is really frusterating. Again, I am open, though doubtful, that there is a wiring issue, or perhaps even an odd faulty unit, or some other problem, but at this point, I do not see it as being a solution.

I hope things change, and I can report back. Maybe a call/contact from Tech Support will reveal a simple, or even complex solution, but a solution none the less.

So, anyone got a spare AFCII the team can use/borrow/steal/buy for little?
