Searched found nothing on this issue.

PLEASE HELP

OK
The large brake fluid container, with the big round cap, it comes loose if I break hard and leaks fluid out. WTF

Also brand new Hawk pads in the front on slotted cross drilled rotors, 1 hard stop, pedal goes to the floor, and brakes are burnt, thought these were good pads?WTF

brakes feel weak at all times, pedal isnt realy mushy, maybe a litle /shrug
I'm affraid to rely on my brakes and I was expecting the Hawk pads to fix the issue.

96 Gst current profile

1) just noticed the fluid pushing out of the loose cap today.
2) broke in the pads per there instructions to the letter.
3) if i try to brake while accelerating my brake pedal is almost unmovable like a mountain, heard this is a check valve issue in booster, which is were exactly ?

Thanks for any advice this is not cool :(

It's held on by a bracket and bolts. It probably corroded the coating from brake fluid and rusted.....or if it's just a loose/worn out cap.......just fix it with a new bracket or cap (whatever the case may be).

Pedal probably goes to the floor from the fluid leaking out after a hard stop and you're sucking up air or you just need a good bleed on it. Just about any brake pad will give off a burnt smeel after a really hard stop.

Probably just need to be bleed.

Also there is a spell checker button on the same page you start a thread on.

Ok I wasn't clear, the lid comes off this large fluid container, container itself does not move, just the lid comes off.
I bled the everliving shit outa it already, just like I did the clutch master cylinder after my act 2600 and braided line and fluid dampener eliminator.

What I was realy after was, has anyone had this happen before ? never in my life heard of a brake fluid cap being pushed off WTF I mean anything is possible, but thats gotta be the rarest LOL.

Thankyou for the ideas, but if advice comes with spelling lessons, then next time keep it all to yourself, And so what if there are spell check buttons, this is a car forum not english class, I misspelled some words, jesus christ I'm pretty sure everyone understood what I was getting at including you. Please get over it already LOL.

Grammar matters here.
Contemplate that during your break. While you fix your brakes.

Notice those are two different words.

We use and encourage the use of the SEARCH button here. If people spell "brakes" as "breaks", those posts will be missed by the search. That's the main reason it matters on this site.
