Good link. On my car, to do the boost leak test correctly I have to rotate the crank to close all the valves. Otherwise boost pressure slips right past the throttleplate and leaks past whichever valves happen to be open.

And it's also a good idea to have the car warmed up, as with a compression or leak-down test...even though most threads don't mention that.

Yea, I'm a VFAQ.com whore. For some reason I just like it better even though some of the links on the site don't work anymore. The tech articles usually have pictures.
