I'll get a picture up shortly, but I wanted to post a thread before i forgot.

The fitting that goes in to the side of the VC (not the pcv valve, the other one) just slides in and out with ease. I don't see any threads but I feel like this definitely shouldn't slide out this easily. instead of buying a new valve cover or getting the fitting welded, does anybody recommend an at-home fix seeing that this isn't a critical part? I have some JB weld, should I give that a shot? if not I could easily take it to get welded but why not do it for free if it works.

JB Weld should be fine. That fitting doesn't see a whole lot of pressure and like you say, it's not a super-critical component. I'm sure there will be prissy naysayers out there that will claim EVERY SINGLE COMPONENT on a DSM is critical, but we'll leave them alone in the fantasy land of their choosing.

That's enough convincing for me haha. Thank you paul I'll go thru with the JB weld and post an update in a few days.
