Actually, I did read the entire thread, and knowing people with EVOIII's, and me myself owning a complete EVOIII clip, I'd say that all EVOIII's I have seen come with EGR's. I'm willing to bet the ones without are 1's, 2's or RVR's.

Many UK and Australian and some asian issue evo 1-3s are non EGR.

Turns out the turbo is still good. One of the oil return line bolts blew off, so this is the source of the clouds.
 
Hiya again guys. Got a spare Evo 3 manifold in shed so took some pictures.From what I have seen so far no EGR = not a Evo 3 manifold.
Some very late Evo 2's might have EGR but havnt seen one as differant intercooler pipes for the E3's with EGR.

Take note of vacuum take offs and how one crosses over on top of TB.

So its killing me to write this right now but Im selling my EvoIII intake manifold w/ coil pack bracket and a brand new Hondata IM gasket for $180 shipped. I accept Paypal and my paypal address is [email protected] first person to PM me gets it. I bought it off of white97gst about 2-3 months ago and its just been sitting in my closet. Bills are kicking my ass right now so I have to let it go :cry:
 
For those that blocked off the EGR and claimed to have used the stock bolt.. how?

The bolt bottoms out well before the head sits flush.
 
how about the intercooler piping any adjustment needed im actually going to be running a 1g /t throttle body and i know some fab work will have to be done for that

The evo3 intake manifold puts the throttle body in the exact same location as the stock 2G TB.

Not looked at this one but the Banjo bolt that came on my E3 manifold on my car didnt actually have a hole for gasses to pass through.So I just cut the pipe off flush and job done :D

I will go check one in shed and take a pic.
 
thats pretty bumass that your selling it since i just got mine and are cars are pretty much already identical but any ways does any one have any numbers on this also do you have to alter the intercooler piping at all

So you cut the stock EGR pipe and used it as a spacer sorta for the "banjo" bolt

I think I'll just go buy a shorted bolt instead, as I'd rather not destroy any of my parts ;)

I think it is a RVR IM...
I am also interested , but just too far for me...
Maybe someone would be interested...
