How in the hell would that thing work??
Ok I understand that the banjo bolt goes in the EGR location at the flange but with that set up it looks like there was a rubber or material hose that ran to the intake tract before the throttle body. Very strange as I would think the exhaust gasses would destroy such material. I also notice that it is the EGR DISCHARGE that would be this material so it would not be under the constant heat of the exhaust. If we are trying to make this system work, wouldn't it coat the throttle body and all vacuum lines fed off the TB with carbon?
Also that looks to be a single action EGR valve. I know that ours are double and that is how the car determins the EGR is funtioning.
