Lagging Problem

Sup guys, I have a 95 ESI 5 speed with about 161100 miles on it (I know that allot). My car has driven kind of fine until it all of a sudden doesn’t want to go. I step on the gas and when I hit about 2k rpms or about 45 mph it lags...hard core...rpms don’t go up and neither does my speed. I have to slam the gas to the floor for it to go...then all of a sudden it jumps and starts to move again, does this in any gear. Then goes back to lagging...I’ve had the car now for about 3 months and it just started to happen. First thought was shit there goes my timing. But no I keep going. If anyone knows what’s wrong please reply. Thanks all

Hey thanks everyone for helping me out. But I think i figured out the problem, fuel filter.
