boost lagging whats wrong

hey guys need help. well basically driving today and then all off a sudden when i try to hit full boost it starts to lag 3/4 of the way up on the stock meter. what could it be. this jus started happening today. help quick.

maybe a boost leak...also, that stock boost gauge is useless.

are you stock or what? If so try changing to bov.... check for any vac. leaks....

I would get a real gauge before you jump to conclusions or worry. If everything feels alright then ignore the stock gauge.

but thats the thing i don't really look at the gauge i feel it. and i just got home right now and the check engine light turned on about half way to my house what could it be. any quick solutions or easy way to find out.
