Sounds like fun. Too bad I couldn't make it out. It took forever just to get from Santa Monica to Los Feliz last night, traffic was 5-10 mph the whole damn way.. by the time I would get to LACR, it'd be over..

. He ran a 14.1. I went against a Camaro SS and he ran a 13.1. LACR is a really shitty track, theres no grip at all. No matter how I launched it spun all 4 thru 1st gear and I couldn't get a decent 60 ft time. IT would just bounce off the limiter. I even launched at a lower RPM and not even flooring it and still spun way too much. It was about 50F and a shitty track prep so that didn't help. Fontana has WAY more grip. I ran a 12.501, 12.533, 12.549 and something else all at 111 mph... how boring. If I was at Fontana it woulda been faster. The car was definitely stronger than at Fontana but I couldn't get a clean run in and a good launch. Dan was having major traction issues too, spinning the whole way down the strip in 2nd and chirping into 3rd.

Some Evo guy who was running 11.4's said he wanted to race me claiming he's running 12.4s...riiiightt....

yeah the track want that great Wednesday. I can usually cut 1.7 60 ft times all day long and trap speeds of 102 + mph, sometiems they prep the track well, other times they dont at all. My car isnt as fast as Beau's car but it does ok. I might have to get up early one of these times everyone goes to fontana to see how she runs. I had a good time though

Your car is so damn clean. I'm kinda tired of the Eclipse look that doesn't get any respect, I'd trade for the full 2gb Talon conversion with the black top any day. Thx for the tip on the hood squeaking. Sorry for cutting u off .

Tnanks man! I appreciate that. I really like your car though, I think its real clean. I really love the 97 Talons in Silver or dark grey with the black roof. That is soo SEXXX! Dont worry about cutting me off. haha. No problem on the fixing the squeaking hood, it drove me crazy so I had to fix it. Now, if I could only figure out a way to fix my front end from squeaking, Id be set....
