In my 1G AWD when I do a hard pull in 1st or 2nd I get a knocking noise from the right rear of the car. I'm thinking it could be my exhaust hitting the rear diff or it may be suspention related. Does anyone use different motor mounts or tranny mounts/bushings to reduce flex? If so where did you get them and what did you notice after the install? Thanks in advance,

well if it happens when you up shift then its probly your motor/torque mounts mine are doing the same. Ever since I installed my act is been making a clunking noise, and I did check my mounts and there tightness.

I know for sure that my custom 3" exhaust (w/Thermal R&D Muffler) is hitting and vibrating the rear diff. at certain rpm points and bumps.

Does anyone have a fix?
Some sort of wrap that can withstand the heat while absorbing impact?
