Knock when letting off throttle...

I have a jeff o. stage 3 chip with knock sum gauge as stock boost gauge. I did a log the other day (old school technomotive) and here is a screen cap from it. I will not let me attach the log file but I doubt many dsm'ers still use technomotive to even look at it. I want dsmlink just haven't got there yet.

Here is the problem. As you can see iirc this is a 1,2 miss 3, then 3 pull pictured. Its pretty self explanitory from the pic. What I'm wondering is why do I have 6 counts of knock when I let off the throttle in 3rd? It happened to me today too on the way home from work and thats why I'm posting. I saw my gauge move to like 10 after I did a second gear pull and let off the gas. It moved up and went right back down again just like in the pic from the log. I can provide more specific numbers from the log or the log file somehow if someone wants to look it over. I'm not sure if there is much I can do because its a chip and I can't go in and edit the maps. Just seeing if there is anything else I can do, or not worry about it cause its when I let off the throttle...

Ive used technomotive before.... What ## seeing is phantom knock. Nothing to be worried about. Ive ran a Keydiver chip and still got it. Take a look at ## knock sensor and see if the goo is oozing out. Depending how old it is you may need a new one. And FYI our 1G sensors are crap. They can pick up just about anything as knock.

Yea I have yet to get back in there to look at it. I bet it needs replaced. I just wanna make sure my baby doesn't blow up. Technomotive is the best free one imo. I had a palm a while back but didn't like it. I like having a laptop with a logger so I can have someone sit there and tell me whats going on and I can look over and see. From what I've read, I thought alot more 2gs get PK not as much on 1gs. Oh well. I thought it would be nothing to worry about. Any other opinions, dsmers? Probably going to pick up a new knock sensor just to be safe. I know its old. After that I'm going to make a headlight intake to get some cooler air to tackle those 100* pre-intercooler intake temps. The 2gs combat pk by using a higher voltage acale 0-5 volts. There able to tune rhe noise floor to get rid of false reading. The 1g is 0-1 and picks up anything and everything. Its been said that if u hook a speaker up it you can hear detonation

There is another world to DSM's. You just got to find the right site to learn. There are lots of good info here but if you want to know more all you need to do is search around.
