Which hole did you put it in?:D The hole above the air compressor or the hole where intake bracket went if you are using smim intake like me. Heard of guys putting it in either place. Just wondering if you put it in one or the other and had any bad results from knock retard. I have knock retard now at higher rpm on boost that am trying to get away from and it don't seem to make a difference if lean or rich, timing or boost really.

I have a torn motor mount and am replacing that today hopefully.

Could you clarify a bit..did you get more knock in the side hole than in the middle hole?

I'm running a DOHC 6 bolt galant 2.4 block and I currently trying to find where to put the knock sensor. The top/middle hole in back of the block (looks like it was a bolt whole for the stock IM brace) has some passages next to it that won't let the knock sensor flush with the block. It seems my only option is behind the ac compressor. Any feedback from this?
