knock knock! cant get rid of it! (some #'s)

I have tried many things to get rid of the nasty knock i have and nothing works. First here are my mods....

91 TSi AWD
K&N
3"Maf / maf-t
evoIII turbo ported
3" turbo back exhaust
Exhaust Man. & O2 housing ported
10-12psi with stock boost controller (to break in turbo)
Walbro 190
660 denso injectors
keydiver stage 3 chip

Now, when I do a pull in 3rd my car is good until about 4500 rpms which is when i start to get boost creep. once that starts I start to get knock. By the time Im @ around 6k rpms my boost is up to close to 20psi and my knock gauge (stock boost gauge) is pegged. I have tried to lean and richen fuel with Maf-t and cant get it to atleast cut down on amount of knock. I have my base idle set at 5*btdc.
Could this just be caused by heatsoaked stock IC? I dont know what else to try.

some numbers from end of my log (using scan tool to record driving data)
at this point my boost was at about 18psi and knock gauge pegged
rpms @ 6531
injectors @ 15.1ms
timing @ 14*Btdc
O2 sensor @ 898mv

If more numbers are needed I can get them. I just wanna get rid of my knock!!!

I'd say get the boost under control and try to tune at an easy 15-16#'s and see what you get.

Your knock could also be mechanical. You might want to try some race gas or something else that you know would definately drop the knock counts if it is indeed being caused by detonation.
