never raced one of them on the street because that would be illegal, but while driving my m3 friends around (late e36 m3's, two of them were in my car, ones a 1997, ones a 1998) they regularly were caught by me screaming, "THIS CAR PULLS SO HARD!!!!" so my guess is, the thing would smoke them...

Yeah, I hate those drivers that don't look over to double check it is clear. There was a time when I was on the left lane of a 2 lane road that merges into mine ahead. Then there was some douchebag that matched my speed and was exactly on the side and he didn't brake or speed up to get out of the way. Almost hit him.

And street racing stories don't really go well with this website, just to let you know. It is more accepted on talk.
