I just want to see Want to see if others feel the way I feel. I recently brought a V2 ECMlink chip. No adapter. Yea i know but before anyone say anything about the adapter let me dig into the story. The orginal owner upgraded to a V3"well was trying so he sold the V2 chip to someone he thought needed it". I brought the chip from the second who also had V3 ECMlink, That's how I ended up buying it from him. None of that bugs me at all. Its when I contacted ECMlink did things become funny and unclear about the company. I get a E-mail from ECMlink and the 1st thing the guys starts pounding out at me is he cant upgrade it" I never asked for a upgrade", I asked if they could sell my the OBD2 adapter that the original owner turned it. He never answer that question, He wont on to send me a link to the "buying a used ECMlink and buying a counterfeit" site. What I brought was not used nor was it counterfeit. What I brought was the chip to that guys upgrade. The website clearly states that you must turn in your OBD2 adapter and ECMlink chip. So how did he and why did they let him upgrade with out sending in the chip? Why post the rules on your site just so you can brake? Shouldn't they have contacted him before even sending him his upgrade to verify that he sent in the chip? All im saying is this. If ECMlink would have done they job as posted on the website. I wouldn't be in this mess. I know alot of you will say its my fault, but its not just my fault, Its mines and ECMlink. I mean these guys now know I have this guys chip that he needed for the upgrade. Will they contact him and ask for the upgrade back till he gets the chip?
