Well I am finally getting a car to put the motor I built over the last year into tomarrow. 1Ga Talon TSi!
Car was running, blew a head gasket kid wants the motor, I am getting the car to put my engine into! and all for $500!!! :thumb: :talon: :D

Anyway the motor is a major build up. Balanced, blueprinted, wiseco forged, ARP, BSE the works :thumb:

Going to be running a T4E/T3, already have a SAFC2 (black) coming, a fuel pressure guage coming, already in possesion of a boost guage, will be ordering oil temp and pressure guages next.
I also ordered parts to complete an entire 304 stainless exhaust. 2.5" turn down From turbo outlet) O2 housing into into a full 3" exhaust with a resonator and a megan dual silencer muffler. I want to be QUITE! :thumb: No pissed of bees here

I am just estatic that I will finally be able to hear this beast run!

EDIT: Also forgot about the data logger and MAF/T.. yes going all out all at once ;) :D
Would it be better to pass the MAF/T for now and go FMIC? I would have the SAFC with 650's...
EDIT2: Forgot the wal 255...

What were you planning on running with the MAFT? the stock side mount? what turbo are you running at first? the T4e/T3? If you are running anyhting but the stock 14b or 13b if auto i would highly recommend the FMIC instead of MAFT.

Either way you are screwed.. You NEED fuel mods and something to control them with, And you NEED an intercooler. I woulden't even start the car without both.
Yes the fuel mods would be the 650's, wal 255, AFPR and the SAFC... and until I do get the MAF/T I will not be going over 12 PSi.
Also the car is a 5 speed.

Right now I am going to be running the SAFC2, wal 255 pump, 650 injectors and AFPR with the T4E.
I was wondering if I would be better off going with a FMIC or the MAF/T first since I would already have the SAFC... Though the MAF/T would not be more then a month off.

Go with the intercooler. At least getting that in soon, will allow you to use some of the performance the car is capable of. You should then probably look into the maft but for now I'm be more concerned with getting a FMIC with your setup.

That is what I was thinking, after all the SAFC does pretty much the same thing as the MAFT, just uses different sensors and not quite as fine tunable.

But yeah I want to hear the whine of this big boy...

Sorry but I misunderstood you. I thought that you were running the car on bigger injectors with nothing to control them, I didn't notice the safc. Sorry.
No biggie... things are misunderstood and misinterpretted all the time online... Just got to remember one thing... it's all about the BOOST :thumb:
