Yegads and little fishies. A picture or a better description of how it happened and what damage. I've had to make repairs and new keys by hand if that info helps. If you split the crank it would probably be garbage for you would have so much in welding and remachineing that it would be cost prohibitive. You may be pulling 20 hp off the end of the shaft so it can't be too mickey mouse.

it forsure threw it out of time all my rocker arms are laying in the valve cover and i can put them back on(not good)so the valves are bent, the end of the crank is fine but my pistons are probably junk,so whet im really asking is besides that is there anything else i should look for.

(it happend at about 7000rpm,2nd gear fresh off a timing belt job)

Ahha, nomenclature will get you every time.
If I understand you broke the KEY and not the keyway???? A huge difference. And those are not rockers but cam followers. Not meaning to pick on you or be insulting.

How bad _was_ the gear and crankshaft damaged when it sheared the key? If it scored the crankshaft you may want to wrap some strip sandpaper around it and take some of those off if the gear spun. If you find the key is not snug then you may have to consider making your own unless the factory has something.

Off the top depending on how much damage was done the crank, rods, cams, could be bent, along with piston(s) being history. Pictures could help but it's impossible to give proper answers without knowing / seeing something more. Get professionel opinion if you don't have the needed skills to make judgment calls may be what you need for I can't help without seeing something.

Cheers,
GTM
