Anyone bought one from KarKing? Any comments on them?

I ask not because I need one at this time, but because I am curious about them and may get one in the future if my current motor dies on me... the compression is 150, 180, 180, 150. I have had a friend who has used KarKing before and was pleased with their service, so I'm not trying in any way shape or form to question their quaility, I'm just genually curious and wondering if I should spend the extra money for a built motor instead or will theirs last through some abuse?

Perhaps KarKing can chime in and explain their rebuild process. Or anyone one who has used them.

Thanks...

Previous owner had a KarKing longblock put in, and never checked it. When I ended up buying the car, it was leaking oil and water everywhere; taking it back to KK resulted in getting more silicone sealant put on, rather than fixing the problem with a new seal and proper torquing.

The engine died after less than 2000 miles, the head was warped and needed to be re-milled.

Personally, though George seems like a good guy, I wouldn't buy from them.. the extra money is worth it to me to get something solid from Slowboy or RRE.

I also didn't like them and wouldn't suggest them either. George is a nice guy and will help u if u have questions. But there warrenty is a joke they refuse to admit it was thier problem.
