K&N air filter Eclipse GS 1991

Hi all,

Is there any advantage to putting the cone style filter on? As opposed to the K&N one that fits in the existing setup.

I have seen various cars with this, but since it would mean removing some of the existing ducting etc I'm not sure.

You want the K&N that fits inside the stock air can. Too much hot air under the hood for a cone filter.
