Ok, i am getting ready to start upgrading my talon, i got the engine back together and running. So remember she is still stock except for the exhaust manifold.

So i just bought a 16g turbo, and a walbo 255 fuel pump, what else should i get to reach 360hp? O i forgot the BOV is not stock.

Ideals on how to go and products would be awsome. What do you guys think?

O and if you have parts that would suit my hp range pm me. Thanks

your going to need a Full turbo back exhaust, I prefer Megan, larger injectors, Dsmlink (for tuning), some mld head work, make sure your lower end is good, A WIDEBAND, boost gauge and oil presure, maybe a FP intake or a Dejon intake, front mount intercooler, etc.

By the way, i do have extra cams that i am going to grind down to 272, plus i do have a AEM wideband o2, and a aftermarket boost gauge.

I already ordered a EGR block off aswell, and the exhaust is 3in no cat, was installed when i bought the car. other then all this stock.

With the DSMlink, do i have to order a ECU? Or can i EPROM mine?

I use the AEM, it's pretty solid but most guys go with the Aeromotive. The reason I use AEM is because most components in my car are from AEM (e.g. EMS, 5 bar MAP, etc). Haven't had a single issue with it.

Do you have E85 near you? That'll make getting to your goal much easier.

-RVR or EVO3 intake manifold will help you get there while looking stock or get a sheet metal intake manifold
-255 pump with AFPR
-880-1200cc injectors
-E85
-DSMlink (you have a 95 so chances are your ECU can be socketed to run DSMLink)
-Wideband
-Boost gauge
-Boost controller
-Full 3" exhaust or 3" downpipe with cutout to stock catback
-Cams and springs (springs might not be needed depending on cam choice)
-Adjustable cam gears
-Intake and filter
-FMIC or maybe a Supra sidemount
-ACT 2600 clutch or comparable
-ARP head studs
-FP exhaust manifold possibly

If you plan to run pump gas you might want to step up to a 20g turbo. It'll make getting to your goal easier. I know you had some of the things I listed already.

thanks guys, i have a quick question about blocking off the EGR. I got the plate today, and i was wondering how much boost can my stock ecu go up to when i install this manual boost controller?

I wouldn't try pushing more than 15 psi on stock system..When you get the 225 installed, injectors, afpr, and dsmlink installed you will be able to tune everything and run more boost..I gotta ask tho, what 16g did you get?

Just to clear the air, you don not need *at all* an intake manifold upgrade nor *any* head work at all whatsoever to reach your goal with a 16g and set of common 272 cams. It will make things easier, but absolutely not neccesary with ethanol or race fuel.

He's absolutly right..You will not need either a manifold or head work to make you goal..It was just a suggestion, which Now I don't know why it was suggested in the first place..

I dont know either, i have not recieved the turbo yet, he just sent it today. When i get it i will have more information.

So just to clear they air, i still need to buy injectors(650cc will work??) FPR(AEM, AERO) grind my old cams to 272, 16g turbo, 255 Walbo, and ECMlink, and i should reach 360hp?

650's should be enough. Also you can port the exhaust manifold, Turbo, and 02 housing to help. It is cheap, and can easily be done. Plus the tune with DSMlink is really going to matter. Do you plan getting it tuned by someone?

I havent really planned that part yet, I am still putting together this upgrade. I suppose i was going to ask for a starting map for what parts i have installed. If not that there is this shop in the springs called Under Pressure, i have heard nothing but good things. So...

yes on pump gas, im not looking to go all out at 600hp, just something with a little pick up and fun on the weekends. Nothing serious. However furture upgrades are possilble so is higher hp.

I know the op is @6000 I've been very close to there...If your planning on going higher numbers in the future I would just get 1000cc injectors or larger. Why spend the money on 650's when you could go high or go home, and don't have to upgrade later....I know you have e85 in the area so that's always an option down the road as well..

I just thought of sumthing..Us on tuners really love e85 don't we..

Sir you make a very convincing arugement. I will look for 1000cc injectors.
