Well I just had my first experience with MMCD. I am using a palm os emulator on my laptop. I would display the whole log but cant figure out how to export it. I tried export database but that wasnt working. Anyways after looking at the log I see the computer is detecting knock. Once I go to 100% throttle knock will be detected around 5100 rpm ranging from 4 to as high as 25. At 6687 rpm just before i let off the gas knock was at 12 at 14 degrees advance. My car is completely stock with boost at 13 psi. Is this ammount of knock damaging? What should I do to get rid of the knock? Heres a screenshot of MMCD at the highest ammount of knock

well i just did another run but this time i turned the boost all the way down, running on wastgate setting about 8-9 psi i think. This time the most knock i saw was 1 so i guess i need to keep the boost down till i get my safc. Why does everyone say 16 psi is ok on stock fuel system?

Who has said 16, I have always read 14-15 is the most. Most of the figures are however for a car in peak condition with no issues at all. The safest and best bet is run wastegate PSI until you get a SAFC b/c the last thing you want to do is hurt the car

I thought ive read 16 was ok, so i figured 13 would be fine. Guess not. Luckily ive only been runnig like that for a couple weeks and i dont hit full boost much. Does anyone have an idea on how to export logs when using the palm emulator?

A bad knock sensor can also cause crazy knock readings but seeing as how you are completely stock and running 16lbs it's probably just too lean.
