I just ordered my Evo316g from extremepsi.net and just opened it up a couple hours ago. It was packed very well and looked great. I guess extremepsi.net dosent do there own porting in house so they send it out to forced performance and what a great job they do. Check out this port job they did...Lemme know your thoughts, i think it looks like a piece of art. PS. sorry for the crappy quality the webcam sucks.

Thanx man, what boost numbers do you run on pump with yours? I had problems holding boost till redline with the 14b + 272/272 cam setup, hopefully this turbo will hold boost better. I wanted to tune for 22psi on pump 93....My goal is 350fwhp.

i run 22-23 psi on pump and 26-27 on race gas, seems to fall to 20 psi if i set it any higher , but with cams the fall in boost level may be greater because the engine is taking deeper breaths

Did you get the 34mm flapper upgrade? I stayed with the 31mm in hoping to run high boost to redline. Hopefully she pulls boost all the way through the rpm range with these cams.

:thumb: wow dude thats a nice turbo man , i plan on goin wit that turbo too , wow let me know how it goes :talon:

Yep they are real nice. My brother pulled 300whp 300lb at 17psi with a stock internal motor. For some reason we where getting to much timing pull and knock if we went any hgher on boost. Maybe some bigger injectors would help him out.

I'd say a Monet. Nice from far away but when you get close it's a bit WTF. Maybe it's the lighting of your pictures, but the walls look a bit unsmooth and elimination of the step looks unclean. I'm also a big proponent of properly shaping the wastegate hole. This port job looks like it simply eliminated material around it, possibly leading to creep issues.

If you want a work of art, you should check out oldman's port jobs. Like porn. :sneaky:

Either way, let us know how it goes.

no problem, i really hope i do encounter boost creep issues with the methanol kit i plan on running with it. The 272/272's should limit the turbos ability to run high high boost (holding 25+ psi till redline, another reason why i went with the stock 31mm flapper) as these cams tend to flow alot more then the stockers. I had a friend with the same setup on an AWD platform, with my same exact mods + fuel system on 22psi put out 330awhp 330awtq not bad and he was on pump gas as well. It should be installed 2-3 weeks, il let you guys know how it performs.

Nothing like combating boost creep by boosting more than it creeps. LOL
