Just got back in the DSM Game! Enjoy!!

Ok well I have been out of the DSM world for quite some time now. But once summer time hit and all the cars came out to play I quickly fell back in love. So I started my search for a talon tsi. I came across this beautiful 1g 1992 Eagle Talon TSI AWD located in Illinois. After a weeks for of talking with the owner we came to an agreement and I made the trip on Saturday to go purchase the vehicle. I got this beauty for $1000. This car is simply beautiful. Not one spot of rust all around or underneath. Car had a running sluggish issue but after changing the fuel filter she purred like no other. Its amazing. She pulls super hard for an automatic. She is equipped with a 6/4 combo which is rare . Im going to be painting this car Ferrari Yellow and then black on top. Going with some black racing rims but not sure which type yet. 6 bolt engine and 4 bolt rear differential. Suppossably not to many of the dsm came with the 4 bolt rear. Thats my understanding.

How is that not beautiful? Find me a cleaner 1g dsm with no problems for less than $1000!! I dont think it can be done. And im not sure what im going to be doing to it yet as far as mods.

A auto 1G with a 6/4 isn't that hard to find for $1k, especially with body damage. What are the miles?

120k miles and where i live talon tsi for no less than 1500 are hard to come by.. i searched for a month and didnt find one for no less than 1800

The 6/4 combo was changed part way through the '92 model year. When they did switch to 7/3 big brakes were also included for the rest of '92. Think it was like April of '92?

Good find! I found myself a 90 GSX with 108,000 on the car and maybe 20,000 on the new motor for 500. Needed a clutch, but the kid had it under warranty at Autozone so I ended up with a great running car new clutch and all for 500 bucks!

Why not keep it a stock color. I have always loved the black cherry or the gray color they come in. I bought my 1g for 250 bucks and it needed an ecu and the body is in better shape. Just paint faded on the roof. Good find though. When ever you spend less than 1500 on any running car it is a pretty good deal.

I have a black cherry 1g, I paid $2,600 and I have people offering me $5k for it.. Black Cherry is a super rare color period, I looked 8 months for specifically a black cherry.

Cheapest I have seen a 1g go for around here was 1500 and it was wrecked.
