Ok well I have been out of the DSM world for quite some time now. But once summer time hit and all the cars came out to play I quickly fell back in love. So I started my search for a talon tsi. I came across this beautiful 1g 1992 Eagle Talon TSI AWD located in Illinois. After a weeks for of talking with the owner we came to an agreement and I made the trip on Saturday to go purchase the vehicle. I got this beauty for $1000. This car is simply beautiful. Not one spot of rust all around or underneath. Car had a running sluggish issue but after changing the fuel filter she purred like no other. Its amazing. She pulls super hard for an automatic. She is equipped with a 6/4 combo which is rare :D . Im going to be painting this car Ferrari Yellow and then black on top. Going with some black racing rims but not sure which type yet. Now on with the pictures.

Brad im shooting for 500 to the wheels =)

Hope you have a healthy motor(compression). Not on a completely bone stock block anyway.
ARP head studs are a must for over ~18psi.
2G pistons with 1G rods and all new bearings with the correct tolerances and I think you'll be okay. But if you have money to build your internals - sh:pt do it right do it once.

WTF What're you talking about man?

ARP's for 18psi? I run 24 and there's a great many people on here who run 30 on stock headstuds, not saying they're not cheap insurance, but get your facts straight. He doesn't need to build his bottom end either, if it's a healthy motor then he'll be just fine, like I just said a few posts above, people have gone over 600whp on stock 6-bolts. 500whp should be cake with a good tune, e85 it will be even easier.

If you're repainting, I'll trade you my hood. Its oxidizing pretty bad now and I haven't been able to find one in our color :sneaky:

Not to bad for $1000. :thumb:
