somewhere, Illinois
front left front right
-0.9 camber -1.3 camber
-0.01 toe 0.03 toe

Do you think I can get away with the camber being so far off or is it time for a front camber kit.

rear left rear right
-1.1 camber -1.0 camber
0.05 toe -0.24 toe

the camber looks almost right im going to take a 1/8 inch washer out to give it more neg camber but the thing I dont get is why I have so much neg toe on the right the guy that did the alignment said he didnt see any thing bent and that was as positve as he could get it anyone else have this problem befor. Im going to take the washers out and take it back up there sunday maybe the toe will go up if I take some + camber out what do you think.

Thanks in advance AJ :rocks: <--- I love this

Going more negative in the rear (camber wise) will give you more toe in.

As of the things that mechanic said, I would check with another mechanic before jumoing to any conclusions.

Difference in the front camber is minimal, and it will be even more even once you sit behind the steering wheel. Even if it stays that way, you should be OK for the daily driving duties and slightly better then what the stock setings are.

Is it important to do a camber kit before or after an allignment. Say if you did a camber kit after an allignment, would it mess with the toe at all?

definitiveno Yes it will mess with the toe I asked the same question to the guy that did my alignment.

MR AWD so if the toe goes in more after messing with the camber that makes it even worse than right or or does toe in mean POS not NEG I dont know anything about suspension yet still learning. Do you have any ideas what I could look at myself to see
why im getting all the NEG toe.

Adjusting camber changes toe. Adjusting toe does not affect camber. This is why you always set the camber first and the toe second when doing a full alignment.

POS or NEG are just agreements or something that wheel alignment machine manufacturer decide to use on their stuff. Usually, POS is toe out and NEG is toe in.

To be safer with these terms, toe in points your tires to the center of the car - kind of like turning in. So, for the front right tire to be toed in that would mean that tire is at the angle to turn your car to the left.

The latest issue of Sport Compact Car has some basics of car handling and it might give you some clue about the terminology and stuff.
