I just got this battery, havent installed it yet. Its a serious piece.
I recently went through some wierd battery issues. I figure the optima will eliminate the chance of the battery causeing problems, but according to the dealer. i have alot of aftermarket accesories.
i still have the stock amp but a different head unit, i also have 6 gauges, 3 of which are fully hooked up, the other three just need the senders installed, so they dont do anything yet, and i also have turbo timer and 255 lph fuel pump, not rewired. i dont think i have THAT many accesories.
but the question is, how do i know that i am not over running the alternator output. that is, is my draw larger then the chargeing amps so its draining the power from the battery?
the dealer is gonna install the battery and wave the diagonstic fee so i guess ill have them check, but do i need to get an amp gauge or somehting?
