i just bought this car.. it has 3" downpipe 2 1/2" catback and upper intercooler piping still the stock side mount though.. i want to get the BOV louder.. and i tried taking the recirculaiting pipe off but when i do that it idles bad and stalls alot.. how can i get around this problem.. and also i heard talk about u can smash the stock BOV to get higher boost or somthing like that i was wanting to know how to do that... thanks all

Get an aftermarket BOV. :D I've heard people say in these forums thats its still better to get a recurculating BOV.

you can smash the stock 1g bov or you can just buy one with a recirculation kit. The greddy type s bov has a nice high pitch sound and recirculates so your car runs good. The greddy type rs is what i have and i had to buy a recirculation kit since it did not come with one. Either will work but the rs doesn't sound much different than stock with a recirc kit.

does anyone know how to smash the stock 1g BOV.. and any other cheap mods i could have done.. im on a tight budget but still wanna put some stuff on her.. i heard the 2g MAS will help alot... and i can get it cheap, are there any other trade secrets yall know of?

there is a page dedicated to cheap upgrades and upgrade paths here on this website. Being a newbie myself, I don't remember exactly where, but if you look around you'll find it. Congrats on the purchase and take care of it. Perhaps you should make sure all the proper maintenance has been done before you go seeking more power.

i bought it with the top end of the motor rebuilt new turbo, and new tranny and transfercase. and new axles in the front
