My setup includes a holset hx35w 7 blade, tial 44mm vband wastegate, 3" open downpipe. My wastegate spring is 8 or 9 psi and i have been running wastegate pressure to make sure everything is ok before i up the boost. I have 650cc injectors, yes i know theyre small and i plan to upgrade them in the near future. How much boost can i safely run with them on this turbo with the 650s? I am also wondering if my wastegate is setup correctly, i have 2 ports and the top port is not connected to anything. Last but not least i have a rigged oil return line that is 3/4 hose on a an fitting flange on the turbo. It works, but i got a stainless line that was too long and i had to rig something up. Where can i find a good return line setup that wont break the bank?

You may max the injectors out at around 20psi depending on how well your setup flows.

you cold push 30 psi if your turbo only moved 30 lb/m of air ROFL

but your turbo should move a little over 50 lb/m

depending on what air fuel ratio and rpm your targeting the 650s could be all you need. you need to check the idc to be certain though.

I ran WG pressure (10 psi) on my Holset for a few weeks.. I thought it felt pretty good.. ... UNTIL I upped the boost!! anything under 20 psi. As soon as I made that one adjustment to get over 20psi it started pulling like a banshee. You might be able to get 20 out of it.. Just make sure your IDCs are getting logged and watch them.

I run 780's and see 90% duty cycle at 28 psi on pump gas. And I bought the garret journal bearing MAP perfomance oil return push lock kit. And I love it. Looks good and easy install.

I would assume you have something to tune with if you have swapped injectors and upgraded turbo??? Just keep an eye on your idc's, keep em around 70%. I'm around 25psi and 71% on my PTE 6235r, flowing around 50lbs/min on my FIC 650's on 94oct pump gas.
