Hey everyone. I've been shopping around for a 2gb gsx for the last few months and I think I've found the one
as long as everything goes well I should be picking it up in the next few days! I've been looking forever an it seems like my due diligence has paid off as this is one of the cleanest dsm's I've ever seen. But enough bring details and on to my questions.
I just turned 20 and while I have a good paying job for a college student, I have lots of things to pay for so this car isn't going to get an unlimited supply of money thrown at it. I have another car (total definition of a beater) for work so I am given some flexibility when it comes to downtime but I don't want this to be like my last dsm (aka in the shop/driveway more than on the road). So, I think a 14b would give me the best bang for my buck while still maintaining reliability. Would you all agree? I thought a regular t28 would be better as I'd like to stay away from kits and stay bolt on and go but I can't seem to find them at all and assume they've been discontinued. Can anyone advise? I would like to note that I'm willing to spend money in this department to remain bolt on but I don't think the big t28 or killer fit me well, if I have the potential I'll end up using it and that could compromise reliability. Is there anything between the big t28 and t25 that bolts up?
I was looking for a reliable 250hp and I don't mind throwing in an walbro 190/evo pump to get it and possibly injectors assuming I could use openport 2.0 to compensate for the new squirters fairly easily (I'm not well versed in the tuning department but I'm a quick learner). It's a 1999 so it should be compatible, can I handle this?
I have some more stupid little questions but I'll stick with these main ones for now as I've searched them and haven't found definite answers.
Thanks ahead of time guys, I know I'll get some insight as you guys are one of the best and most helpful sites out there.
