18 are fairly big most 1G guys will go with 17's and 19's just wont fit.

Depends on your goals. We need to know what turbo you plan on running and how you plan to use it.

Again, depends on your goals. Most people want a fully forged motor becaseu it would be cool. They dont need it and are dont knwo the extra maintenance that goes into it. I personally would do some research on Slowboy before buying a motor from them, but that is up to you.

If it seems like youare getting vague answers it becasue you are asking that type of question we need more info that waht you have given us.

That is the tunning guide for a 1G turbo. That is the proper way to mod your car and have good results.

right now i have an evoIII 16g that came with the car when i bought it. possibly going to go bigger

final goal would be around 400hp+ daily driver so i dont have to drive my impala around for a year or so

its pretty much stage1 except its auto and needs the intercoolerpipes

has:
intake
boost controller
and egt/boost/af/trans temp guages
2.5 custom magnaflow exhaust
evoIII exhaust maifold
walbo 255
and rebuilt transmission

FMIC... if you want 400 hp... are you talking BHP or whp? since I don't think a Evo III will support 400 whp....

Anyways... 2.0 and 2.3 what do you want to do? A 2.3 I heard spools up the turbo faster... its all up to you and how much time and money you are willing to invest.

Go with some lightweight 17's, and lower it a bit.
Some sidemounts can support the 16g, and keep a more sleeper look.
Rebuild the one you have.

as far as time i want it done before december as far as money i guess that doesnt really matter too much im thinking around 6-7k to be somewhere close to what i want my main goal is that im driving around in a primer 64 impala ss thats in dear need of some attention i scored the talon

thinking i wouldn't spend too much money on it but it would be cheaper to finish it and then spend the rest of my life working on my impala

6-7g's...

Consider reading the "walkthrough to power" and see exactly what you have to do to play with those big boys around the N.O. :D . If it's 400hp your looking for get a 2.2 or even a 2.4 with a nice turbo to spool the bish, but honestly in my eyes your best bet is to consider getting your 1g 6bolt built up.

1g - Big Rods
2g - Forged Pistons (95)
and just go from there.

Unless you want to go all out then just go build up your 2.0 with some hefty internals, nice cams in the head and some good supporting mods. (don't forget that front mount)

Pm me anytime your down from across the lake. We may can meetup bro! I live right by covington/slidell.
