just a few questions...

I have a bare bones stock 90 eclipse 2.0 turbo fwd. It uses oil, but still is strong. Real strong. The main leak is coming from the block where the oil filter spins on and I have sealed all of the threads on all of the components down there, but I am still having large leaking problems. I feel like shit when I come walking out to my car after work and there are several oil spots on the ground under the drivers side front of my car. Is there anything typical that would need to be replaced that is easy that would be causing it? Thanks for any and all help...

try a diffrent oil filter some oil filters will back off and cause your oil to leak so you will have to go with the one that won't. Just go to your local auto parts store and talk to the counter person and tell them that taht might be you problem and see what filter they recomend. I had the same problem and that fixed it right away

Yea make sure your getting a good seal when you put the oil filter on.

Get a oil filter with more offset (larger distance between where the gasket seats and the start of the threads). Bring your caliper with you to the auto store. Or say you need to try out one of theirs.
