Removing that cruise control should be your next mod.

i got on it a little bit and i hit 15 pounds at 3200 rpm. and it wasnted to keep going. i will probally keep it down around 15 though for the snow you know.

yeh ihave a AEM, HKS camgears, HKS timing belt, a 42r (but its a t6 flange i dont know if it will work well might use on my rx7), bc 280 cams, a pretty decent valve set up. a head i will port the hell out of. and most likely will go with a destroke 2.4l and lots of methanol and boost.

my tranny was built by AMS before i got it and i have a ACT 2900 clutch.

but im still researching everytihng to make sure i make right decision

OK cruise control will go tomorrow. i just traded for a set of rx7 rims with 7 brand new tires. for a set of rims i had laying around. it was a good deal

im trying to figure out the best spot to pipe back in the BOV and ideas. i have a tig welder so its not a problem just need a common spot. thanks

Why do you have SAFC and AEM? AEM is the most powerful tuning tool that you could use on your setup, AFC is one of the least powerful tools. Honestly you could've used DSMLink and it would've been more than powerful enough for your needs and easier to set up. That being said, if you get the AEM up and running right it should be great. As far as wheel fitment goes go to Welcome!, that should give you some idea of what would work. I think you'll have issues fitting 245's in there without some rolling at least, depends on the offset of your wheels. About power output, to be blatantly honest "Frankenstein" turbos really haven't been at all relevant in this community for years, so I don't even know of any similar setups to yours. As far as BOV recirculation the most common place is back into the air intake before the compressor inlet. By the way, asking "how much power will I make" is considered bench racing and not looked kindly upon on these forums, btw. Good luck with your setup!

well i apologize. im sure break will through in a few days and ill be on dyno. i have a SAFC becasue it was in the car when i bought it. i got a AEM EMS but car jsut got running thursday like i said and pulled it apart again today. so i havent had much time to be tuning.

bench racing. thats kind of a joke. i was wondering if any one had anytihng similar. i cant wait for the second to push that car to the limits. like i do with all my cars. i love knowing what the car can do. then i feel i can handle it better if that makes sense.

Wait a second, do you not have the AEM installed already? If you don't have the AEM setup in there already, you should look into what exactly it takes to run it in our cars. There's a lot of wiring for sensors, electronics, etc. If it's not in I would check out what AEM can do versus what it takes to install it, then look at DSMLink and then make your decision. If the car already has AEM in and is running, go with it. Getting it running right with AEM is a pain, but if that's already done there's no reason not to use it, in fact it would be better than DSMLink. Also, I wasn't bashing you for bench racing, just letting you know that you might catch some flak for it in the future.

i read a couple of write ups on it. it seemed a little complicated from what i was understanding.

i paid 650 for AEM so i couldnt pass up.

we have a really good shop here that all they tune is AEM.

by any means do i know it all about these cars and thanks for the help. i have heard nothing but good things about AEM. every person i talked to the only downside they say is price. which is very true

i have been looking into the AEM but tuning with e-85. i still need to do a little more research though. any imuts would be great.

i need my boost controller to get here. anyday hopefully

i am driving it now though so need to recirculate. but im not wailing on it so im not having any problems right now

Hey, congrats on the build! All of my 1g's have had the same blue/gray trim paint as yours! If you are ever interested in getting involved with the Chicago DSM scene, come introduce yourself on ChitownDSM.com!
