WAY too low. He must be getting a lot of knock. Also, I think he is running too rich. With the 255 he really should have an aftermarket AFPR. How much boost is he running?

Thats my log right now am running 19 to 20 psi 550s set to about -22~ across give or take a few %

I used the palm n stein too and did not really like it. Why is the throttle at 96% an not 100%? This looks like a 3rd gear pull to me and the timing is fine until about 2600 RPMs. You friend should expect to get about 10 degrees of timing advance at the low RPMs then it should steadily increase to about 19 degrees by the top end. From what I have read on here that is considered about perfect. The O2s look great. .93 is what you shoot for. What is the A/F ratio, can you see that? Also what are the settings on the AFC, HI/LO set points and the values at each respective RPM. My guess is knock is pulling the timing at the top end. I have the FPbig28 and until I put the FMIC on it, I always got knock on the top end, its just a hot turbo. His turbo should be fine. Has he flushed his motor or gotten any seafoam for it. Carbon built on cylinder heads will cause knock, so if he has not flushed the motor in a while have him do that.

OK i Have redone this log this morning, I lowered the boost to 19psi and started my timing at -10 across the board tuned alittle and this is what i have gotten;
