I hope you guys can understand this I tried my best to keep it thorough yet readable.

I read the service specs for the rod journals are supposed to be 1.7710-1.7717

Please help and correct me if I’m wrong. Where should I go from here.

So I did some triple and quadruple checking with my measurements on my rod journals. They varied from 1.7703 to 1.7707. I torqued my 1g rods with standard ACL aluglide rod bearings in them down to 37 ft pounds. I used the tools that were at my disposal. I used my telescoping t-bore gauges to check for bore size of my rods. If you ask me they are a hit and miss when trying to get very accurate measurements but they work ok for the amount I use them. I came up with measurements that varied from 1.7731 to 1.7725. I did the math and my oil clearances varied from .0021 to .0027. If any of these sound off or wrong please lead me in the right direction. I was expecting to see measurements in the .003+ range s i guess i am somewhat pleased with these.
