Okay, this probably doesnt even warrant a review but I've read a few threads with debates over wether to use test pipes or not and I figured i could contribute something. I ordered one of Joe P.'s test pipes for 45 dollars shipped. Arrived in just three days (sweet). Had it installed by a local performance shop today. They had to completely destroy my old catalytic converter to remove it. All around the seals rust had formed and pretty much made it impossible to get off. They went through 3 saw blades and 30 minutes of pulling on the thing to get it off. Thank god I didnt try it. After that it bolted right up.

The pipe itself is 2.5 inches but is able to bolt to the stock downpipe and cat-back I have. Overall quality is good but the shipping was pretty subpar. It arrived in a standard U.S. mail envelope thing. Undamaged during the shipping though.

Performance:
Two words, less lag. Before installing it i'd get 14psi at about 3800 rpm. Now I get a small spike up to 15 before settling back at 14 at about 3500 rpm. Boost response is much better. Most of the noticable power gain is in the mid range. Do I'd guess mostly to the faster spool up.

Sound:
At idle its hardly noticable unless your standing next to the muffler. However during driving it did give the car a very mean growl. I love the new sound. Sounds almost like a camaro with stock exhaust. Not too much louder but definatly noticable.

Car does give off a gasoline smell but its not very bad. Only really notiable if you rev it up in nuetral. Parked in traffic you'll probably never notice.

50 dollar joe p boost controller + 50 dollar joe p test pipe = best 100 dollars ever spent.

its nice to hear that you are enjoying your t-pipe. i cant really give my feedback on my testpipe as i installed it with a downpipe and an exhaust at the same time.
