2.5" Test Pipe Review - Stock Exhaust

I got my 2.5" test pipe from...

My exhaust is still stock...I planned on getting an entire 02 eliminator but a lack of $$$ and my boss/wife put a stop to that. So I went cheap and just got a 2.5" test pipe for 50$...for now. I will get the other parts soon when overtime kicks in. Anywho...

Install was pretty easy...took me and a buddy 1hr to install. Would have been faster if the bolts weren’t rusted to hell.

Went on a test drive and I felt some good power gains in the butt dyno...much smoother throughout the power band (2.8K-5.5K RPM). The car sounds no different IMO. Maybe a little more rumble but not anything my old lady would complain about. Overall good cheap mod. No CEL yet either.

About 100mi so far. I will post if I get one. I thought some get the CEL some dont.

I have 10K on my full one piece turbo back 2 1/2" with both 02's still there.

Eliminating the Cat is a worthy mod....if allowed in your state of course.

Follow on with a Cat-back and Down pipe then be surpised.
