Anyone know much about them? I have search and there isn't much info out there. All I could really find is that some people bought them when they came out but nobody really said anything after. I am talking about the 2 stage one. Anyone know how much they used to cost new, if they work well, will hold boost good at 30psi, and if a used one is worth 100?

I am talking about the dual stage one that they don't make anymore. Not the regular mbc.

Thank you for posting that. I was thinking about making one before and didn't know what I could use for the solenoid. By the boost control solenoids, does he mean the ones many people disconnect as a free mod?

I have a joe p. mbc on my car, it works alright. It has had a couple leaks at the screw, but overall it works. The bad part is mine only lets me set it to 13psi, I can't go any higher.

Honestly I think you should find a better one, mine has lasted about a year, but its been a pain trying to tune,

based on my experience, yes,for 50 bucks. Held 20 psi steady with no creep.

Thanks, I meant taking the little thing out of the hose or whatever it is.

I have a boost controller I made at work that held 25 psi with no spikes. It didn't even cost $10 to make. I don't think there is any boost controller that is really better than others. I have had a hallman leak like crazy and I think my friend had a problem with his regular joe p.
