Jeep Throttle Body Opinion

The ceramic coating keeps down engine bay temps a little and also promotes a better flowing exhaust by taking advantage of the thermal energy. As air cools down it also slows down. Exhaust flow that is hotter will move quicker than colder air.

The stainless steel looks good when you install it and DON'T get grubby fingerprints all over it but will do things like heat up your starter and anything else that's near it. It's a good idea to remove the starter and wrap it up in a thermal blanket to protect it's electrical components inside. Frequently you may find people wrapping a stainless steel header with a wrapping like what Thermo-Tec sells. This also locks the heat inside the exhaust system and promotes flow. The down side to this is that when not installed properly it will fall off and it also voids the warranty on the header (like they were really gonna stand behind a performance part warranty anyways).

Don't waste your time on the Jeep Throttle body. The biggest parts you needed from that TB are gone anyways if the item being sold is EXACTLY what you see there anyways.
