what,they work 10% of the time? ,just move your switch a few times
back and forth to work em in(its the swicht that causes that,not the mirror motors itself--i leatrned this at work after many customers said that their power mirrors didnt work..its because of the Electrical (spelling?*)Resistance ,so u gotta adjust ur mirrors more oftenly.

@ AW4g63 ,i didnt bust out,somebody wanted em first and the Mitsu guy i know got some heat for selling me a few pairs( from his Boss -he should have been Happy to get rid of em out of their shop..)under Retail(with no profit,just like i sold em)so he cant do that anymore...maybe after this cools down,maybe i can get 1 (just one1,only 1 pair,so no Pms Bugging me bout nothin),and if i do end up getting a pair, u will be the first to know ,OK?

Folding the Mirrors in helps the Qutermile runs ET's...

most Eurospec cars (if not all)have foling mirrors(some fold in automatically after u lock the car)

the mirrors on my Omega(Catera for u us guys) didnt fold..i thought the did,so i kinda leaned on one..an asked myself why they didnt fold..so i pushed some more and ...Plop,i tore it off and it hit the ground..Sheisse! it was busted! i was so embarrast,that i lyed and told my Friends that some Drunk must have driven to close and tore my mirror off in the Parking lot at the Club...

anyways i gozt another one from the Scrapyard in like 2 days...

Those are the same mirrors that I have been telling everyone about when they say there are no Eclipses in Japan. Those are the same mirrors on the Eclipse in Japan. I always liked them especially when they fold back. Looks cool and you got more room to move around your car in a tight parking spot. Sweet and BTW how much did those cost you. Where is the switch to fold the mirrors located?

Nope, they weren't manufactured there(as far as I know), but the few that did get sent over got the folding mirrors and orange-tipped tails just like the Euro guys got.

Ok, so the other day when I was putting my shoes on in the garage I was staring at my older sisters car parked next to my car. She drives a '00 Mitsubishi Mirage 2 door coupe. And I was looking at the mirrors and they look like they are identical to the ones found on the EDM 2g DSM's. So I studied them and they looked like they'd fit on my car, like be a direct bolt on.
It all seems to make sense. Like even the '98 Mirage has the same mirrors. So why would Mitsubishi make a new mirrors for a cheaper car, when they could just visit the parts bin? And that's what I think they did.
I wish I could see if they really work, but my sister would flip out if she saw her mirror off her car.
I'll try to snap some pics

I'm sure a junkyars would be equally successful...hell, just take your tools, find a mirage, pull the mirror..find a dsm and attempt to install....net cost $2 to get in...heh
