jdm 2g awd trans 5speed

has anyone put a awd 5speed jdm trans in there 2g car is there any differents? and is it wroth getting one?

I beg to differ. The JDM evo engines that use the evo 3 transmission has very different gear ratio's than the stock 2g. The trans is not interchangeable but the gears are. That is why tre and shep offer it as an upgrade.

However, you can use JDM switchable parts to make your 2G tranny switchable .

Tranny is interchangable, evo 3 is not switchable but galant/1g trannies are. Just change the final drive on the tranny and all will be well, ring gear and pinion is what you need TRE sells them. I haven't driven a 2g without a jdm tranny so I haven't felt the difference yet.
