Hey guys I am looking into the Jay Racing Active Toe Eliminator kit. Anyways how hard is the install. Looking like it just slides into the control arm. Just want to make sure there in no welding or anything like that. Thanks

You gotta weld it onto the trailing arm once it slides in. It also helps to have a torch to burn out the old rubber bushings. It's a little bit of work but every bit worth it in the end.

Torching out the old toe link can take some time. I used an oxy/accetlin torch and pry bar to head up and work the toe link out. Definatly something to be done outside as there will be a lot of smoke.

You guys talking about torching out this part???

It unbolts from the trailing arm and you knock it off the end with a hammer. It takes 2 minutes.
You do have to clean and prep the surface for installing/welding the active toe delete inserts and obviously as stated above you do need to weld them in to the trailing arms. You do not however need to torch anything out.

I'm guessing your's was special. My trailing arm bushing was still part of the outter shell, which needs to stay in. (which I don't care for). There was no way mine would simply knock out in 2min.
