Just a quick question that I can't seem to find anywhere or can't get a clear answer from. I need a J-pipe for a 16G that has an outlet size of 2.5" (not really important) that is bent in the right direction for a FMIC that runs side to side. I've got a j-pipe that goes to the stock 2G sidemount and can't get a clear picture of what everyone else's j-pipe bends towards. Does anyone know where I can get one that goes away from the intake side so I can fabricate some piping to the FMIC? I'm soooo close to finishing up this project but I'm kind of stumped now.

None of the aftermarket manufacturers make anything larger than a 2" J-pipe due to clearance issues with the intake and passenger side fan. I have an oversize pipe and it barely fits with a 3" intake. Even if you had one custom made, you would still need to have it step from 2" at the outlet since a flange to accomodate a larger size wouldn't fit the compressor outlet.

I guess the 2.5" size isn't extremely important as having the j pipe aimed towards the right direction (driver's side). I can always get a coupler to increase the size later but I'm stuck 'cause I don't know who sells a j pipe that turns the direction I need for a FMIC.

Not completely sure if this is what will answer your question here but here goes....i got a j pipe from dejon powerhouse that is made for my 16g and it works great for my FMIC. gonna run ya about $75. I know SBR sells a similar one too. just go to http://www.dejonpowerhouse.com and click on frontmount IC. scroll down and there is your pipe with choice of 2, 2.25, and 2.5 inch outlet size. See, the pipe is made to fit onto your turbo outlet and then it expands on the end to match up to the IC piping. I have also seen a couple of guys cut their stock position j pipe and use some bends to get it into the FMIC piping position. Either one can work.

Your best option is to buy a flange and have an exhaust shop mandrel bend you what you need. It'll be cheap and it'll fit your application.
