Teeing off the BOV line makes for just as accurate of boost control as off of the turbo. Most people running a non-stock turbo are using the BOV vac line for boost control. Go for it.Irrational said:Does teeing it off at the bov make it harder to control boost since its not near the turbo?

He is refering the the J-pipe. On stock 1G's there is a vac. nipple on the J-pipe and on aftermarket j-pipes's there is no nipple. He was wondering if he had to fab a nipple or get his boost source from somewhere else.Defiant said:What are you calling a "J-pipe"? A J-pipe goes on the output side of a turbo to route the air toward the intercooler. Are you referring to the intake snorkle between the MAF and the turbo intake?
