Its running after 8 years

So we got some good news as our 92 awd talon fired on its own power after 8 years. Its got its problems now, mainly its leaking from an injector really bad. Looks like a bad o-ring. Needs a timing belt. But other than the leaky o-ring its running really good.

please tell me you drained all the old gas out of the tank . Why did it sit so long? Thats cool ya got it running good after sitting that long. My 03 ram hemi has been sitting for like 6 months and I thought that was bad

as we speak now, go and change all the orings, new OIL new Filter , new gas, new timing belt and tensioners , new water pump and new battery and new alternators belts and ac belts and new Coolant and radiator flush and then .......... a BOOST LEAK

We already did the oil change,fuel filter,drained the tank and replaced the fuel pump and sending unit, new battery, Also new plugs and wires. Next up we are pulling the motor to do timing belt, new belts, water pump, and lots of leaky gaskets. At least it has no knocks. O man it was stinky after the first start. But it quit smoking except for condensation since it was about 28 degrees outside.

Excellent news! These cars are in the best hands (for the most part) on these forums. We all understand that these cars are art and shouldn't be demolished

Here is one from when we bought it. Need to get some more pics. Its was under a very thick coat of dust. Most of the black interior was brown if that says anything. Hey its only got 113k and its a 6/4 combo car.
