Ok, so I'm sure you guys are aware of the "jeep" guys that always wave to each other when they pass each other on the road. I've been doing the same to my fellow dsm'ers, and I was just wondering if you guys do it too? And, if you don't, you should start.

Every time i see an Eclipse or Talon on the road I wave. Every now and then if I see a chick in a 3rd Gen. Eclipse I'll wave. But I agree, we should all wave and be a big happy family!

Check the stats bud, I am too... And personally, I don't really care. Sure I'd love to have a GST or GSX, but just cause I an N/T doesn't mean that I can't wave to my fellow DSMers!

I wave to the ones who are not acting like dumbasses. I agree we should all be a big happy family. And while on it, and I am not trying to put anyone down or act like a jerk, but if you don't have a GST or GSX or an Eclipse/Talon/Laser that has not had an 4G63 engine under the hood, meaning you have the 420A, how can you be considered a DSMer. I mean DSM = Diamond Star Motor which is the engine developed in co-operation with Mitsu and Chrysler, the 420a is just a Chrysler only engine, just wondering and I am going to post this in it's own thread.

I would i guess. But everytime I get near a dsm around here they dont even know that a talon is an eclipse twin. So basically no one knows what a dsm is around here. But if they did sure id wave.

I have no less respect for anyone who is N/T or does not have a 4G63, the cars themselves are both nice looking and both well performing on the whole. I am just questioning DSM as a term for community, I mean the M specifically stands for Motors, or engines as I would translate. I think if we want to be a whole community we should use something that can have little less argumentative status.

Well, I'm not arguing, because if I was then we wouldn't all be one big happy family now would we?! We all have one thing in common though, we all drive either an Eclipse, Talon, or a Laser. So that makes us family...

None taking, my car at this very second is having a 1G engine dropped in. I say this on thin ice, but I hate the look of 1G models, think they are god awful ugly, so I figured I would get the best of both worlds.

I wave or not to every other DSM around here......however im N/T and most of them are N/T.
Im also one of a VERY few that has modified their car in any apreciable way, so most people look at me funny when i wave.

I like waving to any of the GST or GSX guys I see the most, I removed my GST sticker, got a very stealthy black intercooler and placed an RS sticker on the back of my car and take challenges for races usually 100-500 bucks cash, easy money .

You cant do that around here, Everyone that drives one around here weather it be 1g or 2g or 3g, Most of them are non-turbo anyways, Actually all of them, The turbo cars are owned by friends of mine.. The OTHER dsm owners will look at you like you are an asshole or a piece of shit, They think they are better then you for some reason. In my town you dont do that, They'll most likly start shit with you or try to race you in their piece of shit broke down non turbo. No offense to anyone on here but i'm sure there ARE a few members that do this also, They think they are better then everyone else. #### those people and my town.
