It looks like i am losing coolant out of my balance shaft, above my tensioner in....

It looks like i am losing coolant out of my balance shaft, above my balance shaft tensioner, in or behind the pulley.

Does anyone know what this could be?

I know i need to replace the timming belt and all the tensioners, waterpump, timming belt, pulleys, balance shaft belt and balance shaft pulley. It is getting near the replacement time for that.

However i was looking at my oil pump and noticed that i had a coolant leak, looked like it was coming of my oil filter, though i ruled that out cause the guy i bought it of of blocked that off., that is when i noticed it coming behind the pully.

Pleas help as i have no clue what to look for and have never heard of this before.

Could be the water pump. There are small holes in it that will leak when the seals inside go bad. If you have an Autozone near you, they have coolant pressure testers in their free loan-a-tool program. It is much easier to track down the location of the leak with the tester. Make sure you get the adapter to fit your car.

It is a slow leak and dropping about 1 drop about every 20-30 seconds.

Thanks, but my car is not legal to drive yet and i cannot drive it there cause it needs tags and insurance, but ill try to get one.

Id bet on the water pump leaking from the holes down. Start it and look at where the water pump is and see if you can see it leak out and down.
