ISC clicking.

I had my battery disconnected and when I hooked it back up I heard my ISC start clicking. So I disconnect the battery again and re connect and same clicking. Is this normal or not?

I'm assuming you have a 1G. It might be a bad ECU. Check your capacitors, and visually inspect the ECU.89-94 Capacitor Replacement BTW update your profile, it helps people to know what kind of vehicle you have when answering questions.

Yup its a 1G, the ISC tested good for the resistance tho. And Steve just fixed me ECU

Talk to Steve, and see what he thinks.

If you open the hood and listen your hear the ISC being rehomed when you turn the ignition on.
If you pull it out or the throttle body and watch the pintle while doing this you will see it move in and out.

If it clicks but doesn't move it's bad. Likely one of the coils is open but the screw can freeze up too.

I am going to take the ISC out here in a couple days and see if its moving.

make sure it moves properly as mine was moving only a bit and it was bad ISC. make sure it moves in and out all the way ( this is ofcourse when its off the throttle body and only connected)
