ISC motor clicking when car is off.

Anyways, before I forget, something wierd happened today. My car was completey off and I was removing the door panel (trying to fix a sticking/off track window. Anyways, I heard this inconsistant clicking noise and it kept getting more rapid. I checked under the hood and it was coming from around the ISC motor, so I unplugged it, and it stopped. I plugged it back in, and it started again. I left it unplugged for a bit, and then plugged it back in so I wouldn't forget about it and it wasn't making the noise anymore. I have no idea what that means, but it was really wierd.

Any help would be awesome, thanks a lot.

To be honest, I don't remember.. But even still, why would the ISC motor start clicking very rapidly?

Hey mine is doing this too when the key is on, is this normal because I've never heard it before and I have been under the hood with the key on many many times.
