but if i were you i would go with a mhi big16g for 500-600

and still gonna need the install kit

I heard Ebay turbos dont last that long but they do the job, IDK how true this is since I have never bought one from there. but yes that will work on your 2G as long as you get the 16G install kit

Since you have not filled out your vehicle information in your user profile, I will be assuming that your vehicle is completely stock.

In that circumstance, your car came with a Garrett T25 turbo from the factory with mitsubishi flange turbine housing. The turbo you are looking at in your Ebay link is a junk turbo that will not directly bolt-on to your application. Aside from its poor quality, you will require an installation kit to run it on a 2G DSM, as it is designed to be a bolt-on turbocharger for a 1G DSM that utilizes a Mitsubishi 14B turbo from the factory.

You will be better off searching for T25 turbos for a 1995-1999 Mitsubishi eclipse and purchasing a new or used one instead of the turbo you are looking at. If you search for "T25 turbo eclipse" in Ebay, you will find results that are for your application.

Expect to spend $50-150 for a used Garrett T25 Turbocharger for your application.

If you were to purchase a 14B or 16G turbocharger for your car, you will require an installation kit including a different intercooler pipe, oil feed line and coolant lines, and will need additional fuel modifications including larger injectors and a higher capacity fuel pump with some sort of engine management to properly and safely run a larger turbocharger than stock.

I personally wouldn't buy and ebay knock off turbo. Its pretty much a gamble, it might last or it wont. Some people have had good luck with using them for 10,000+ miles. Others get only an oil change out of them ie 3,000 miles.

I bought an evo III off ebay to get me by just like the auction your looking at. It was the biggest piece I have ever bought. The treads in the bolt holes pull out with barely any tourqe on them and it constantly had an oil leak from the return. I would find a used oem replacement to get you by until you can upgrade to a nice quality turbo.

Everything I have ever read about turbos from Ebay, scare the crap out of me.

Here's the answer..they're that price because you're paying for quality. A $600-800 turbo at a good tuner site that you can pick up the exact same thing on Ebay for less than a couple hundred is too good to be true. Take your chances. Not everything on Ebay is deal. I just shelled out big bucks (cheapest of all the sites I looked into) for a new Evo III 16g from ExtremePSI. I can assure you it's the genuine part and I don't have the fear of the thing stripping threads or cheap ass bearings failing and being left to pick up another one when it quits.

All this is just my educated experience and humble opinion. BUY at your peril from Ebay.

Does anybody actually know the 3rd world country company that makes the junk turbos that are sold on ebay? Ebay isnt at fault for the junk that are on there. You can find an oem turbo on there for around the same price.

That turbo will bolt up to ## manifold and dump pipe, but u will need a j-pipe kit with an ss oil feed line. I'm on almost 2000 miles with a turbo like that and havent ran into any problems yet. I run 14psi. on it. The only thing neg. I have to say bout it so far is, that adjustable wastegate wont let it open but 1/2-3/4 of the way and you'll need port it heavily. I use a 14b wastegate on mine.
